Xcue is an AI-powered writing utility designed to provide contextually aware reply suggestions for users on X (formerly Twitter). We prioritize technical transparency and user privacy in our development approach.
The Xcue Promise: We do not store your X credentials, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your thread history for AI training.
1. Data Collection & Usage
To generate accurate suggestions, Xcue accesses the following information in real-time when the sidepanel is active:
Thread Context: We process the text content of the active conversation thread to provide relevant, logical replies.
Visual Media: We utilize vision-capable models to analyze images or videos within the thread to ground text responses and prevent hallucinations.
2. Our 2026 AI Infrastructure
Your data is transmitted securely via Supabase with full encryption in transit to our specialized inference providers:
Text Intelligence: Llama 3.3 70B
Utilized via Groq Cloud for ultra-low latency text reasoning and high-speed natural language generation.
Multimodal Intelligence: Gemini 3 Flash
Utilized for Agentic Vision to provide visual grounding and media-aware commentary.
3. Data Retention & Training
Ephemeral Processing: All data is used for real-time inference only. No user data is maintained on our servers after the generation session ends.
No Model Training: Your private data is never used to train the base models for Meta, Google, or Groq.
